Jeffery Deaver’s grisly and compelling mystery series featuring quadriplegic detective Lincoln Rhyme kicks off with a bloody bang. I don't know if it is true or not, but I felt reading this book made me smarter, it at least made me more knowledge about the science of crime scene investigation. Of course, the reader is given loads of technical information regarding crime scene investigation, lots of 10-letter word terms and anatomical names for bones and body parts. He is a writer and actor, known for The Bone Collector (1999), Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector (2020) and The Devils Teardrop (2010). The chemistry of the actors in the movie was there in the book, added with the character's inner dialogue that couldn't be telegraphed to the viewer. Jeffery Deaver was born on in Chicago, Illinois, USA. I thought it was terrific and didn't know how it could have been improved with the book’s description of the action. For years I had put off reading the book because I loved the movie. A million years ago, I watched The Bone Collector movie with Angelina Jolie and Denzel Washington. ![]()
